A note from the Artist

Hi I’m Danielle Dowers, a Wife, Mama, and a painter based in rural New Zealand.

My work is inspired by tonalism, my upbringing in the countryside, and the animals that inhabit it. I paint with oils on textured cotton paper, then surround the scene with a beautiful antique frame. Providing you with a calm, subtle, and heirloom-like piece to bring a peaceful treasure to your home.

Through my art, I hope to offer a small moment of calm, warmth, and nostalgia in an often busy world.
